I joined the Department of Business as an Assistant Professor of Finance in the fall of 2013. Prior to then, I taught courses at Concord University and Lehigh University. My research focuses on corporate finance, corporate governance, international finance, and financial markets. I have published in the Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Economics and Business, Corporate Ownership and Control, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money, and Applied Financial Economics.
I enjoy teaching students how to make decisions using relevant financial information. I like students to be confident when they apply various financial methods, analyze different interdisciplinary relationships, and communicate their ideas to business communities. Additionally, I am a mentor of the ǿմý Investment Organization (ROI), which is a student investment club. Some of the ROI activities include managing a stock portfolio, learning about different investment strategies, and discussing the current market trends.
