Fellowships
Fellowships take scholarships a step further by providing students with the chance to participate in important study, research, creative work, and service with like-minded peers. Fellowships provide a way to put academics into action, build a student’s resume, and be part of a learning community.
Fellowships require a specialized application process. Use the below links to access the current fellowships available (effective for 2024-25 incoming students only):
Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC)
ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, in cooperation with the University of Memphis and the Departments of the Air Force, Army and Navy, participates in crosstown agreements that provide the opportunity for ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ students to enroll in Aerospace Studies (), Military Science () and Naval Science () at the University of Memphis. Although a student takes the ROTC courses at The University of Memphis, that student is a full-time student at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, and any financial assistance provided by the military services is based on tuition and fees at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½. Upon successful completion of the reserve officer training programs and the undergraduate degree at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, a student receives a commission as a second lieutenant or an ensign in the appropriate military service. Visit the current ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Catalogue for degree-specific course details.
Institutional fellowships, scholarships, and grants may be used to pay ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ tuition, fees, room and board only (direct cost), unless otherwise specified, and are awarded on a full-academic year (two semesters), fall and spring semesters only. Please note, ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ scholarships may have to be reduced if you receive awards from outside sources that in combination exceed direct costs.
